About Us
The Naz exists to offer hope! We believe that true hope is found in Jesus Christ. Therefore, we want to offer you and your family the opportunity to get to know the source of hope, and to experience the atmosphere of hope through vital relationships with other people of hope!
Whether you already believe in Jesus, or you are simply seeking for answers to your life's situation, it is the heart and desire of this church to help you find the fulfillment in life that Jesus promised to those who seek him. Jesus said,
"I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."
No matter your age or circumstance in life, we have a place for you in the family of the First Church of the Nazarene. The doors of our church and the doors of our hearts are open to you.

Worship
A highlight each week is when we gather together to focus our attention on God and worship Him. We have three worship services. The first one, known as "Horizons" is at 8am and has a blending of music that is both contemporary and songs of faith sung through the ages. The next two services are at 9:30 and 11am, both are known as "Celebrations" and are more contemporary in nature. Our pastor preaches a relevant message challenging us to apply the truth of God's Word to our lives each day.
Ministry
Jesus said that we find our lives by giving them away. We encourage every member and regular worshipper at our church to use their spiritual gifts and talents in ministry toward others. God has created each of us with unique personalities and gifts in order to become a part of the entire Body of Christ.
Our Beliefs
...About GodWe believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost world.
...About MankindWe believe man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort.
...About SalvationWe believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin.
...About the Christian LifeWe believe every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the Word and daily yielding to the Spirit, every believer should mature and become conformed to the image of Christ. We believe it is the Holy Spirit that fills and empowers us to live a life conformed to Christ’s image.
...About the Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and thru love, making Him known to a lost world.
APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
