Production Manager
The Production Manager helps oversee the technical elements of our services and works under the direction of the Worship Pastor to make sure everything runs smoothly. This role coordinates the production team and oversees ProPresenter, cameras, livestream production, and livestream audio.
What You’ll Do:
- Arrive early to power on and prepare production systems.
- Coordinate the technical team during services.
- Oversee slides, cameras, livestream production, and livestream audio.
- Work with the Worship Pastor and Executive Pastor to accommodate service needs and make adjustments as needed.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues and keep the service running smoothly.
What You’ll Need:
- A working knowledge of ProPresenter, basic sound, cameras, and livestream equipment.
- A willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills.
- The ability to stay calm, flexible, and attentive during services.
- No formal experience is required, but familiarity with production technology is helpful.
Commitment: Serve 1–2 times per month.
Camera
Camera Assistant
Camera Assistants help capture the service through our roaming camera, giving those in the room and watching online a closer look at what’s happening during worship and throughout the service. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about production and camera operation.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate the roaming camera during services.
- Follow direction from the Production Manager.
- Capture different moments and perspectives throughout the service.
- Help create an engaging visual experience for our livestream.
What You’ll Need:
- No previous experience required.
- A willingness to learn and receive training.
- The ability to pay attention and follow direction during services.
Commitment: Serve approximately once a month during all three services. No Wednesday practice requirement.
Camera Tech
Camera Techs work behind the scenes to help create a smooth and engaging visual experience during our services. Working under the direction of the Production Manager, Camera Techs adjust camera angles throughout the service to help capture the moments that matter.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate a camera during services.
- Change and adjust camera angles as directed by the Production Manager.
- Stay attentive to the service and respond quickly to direction.
- Work as part of the production team to create a seamless livestream experience.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous camera experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn is important.
- The ability to follow direction and stay focused throughout the service.
Commitment: Serve approximately once a month during all three services. No Wednesday practice requirement.
Sound
In-House Sound
Our In-House Sound team helps create an environment where every voice, instrument, and moment of worship can be heard clearly. Working under the direction of the Worship Arts Pastor, you’ll help mix and manage the sound for our in-person services.
What You’ll Do:
- Mix live sound during services.
- Balance vocals, instruments, and other audio elements.
- Work alongside the Worship Arts and Technical Arts teams.
- Help create a clear and engaging sound experience for our congregation.
What You’ll Need:
- A willingness to participate in sound mixing training.
- Experience with live sound is preferred, but not required.
- No audition is required.
Commitment: Serve approximately once a month during all three services.
Livestream Sound
Livestream Sound helps make sure those joining us online can hear and engage with every part of the service. Working under the direction of the Production Manager, you’ll mix the audio specifically for our livestream audience.
What You’ll Do:
- Mix and monitor audio for the livestream.
- Balance vocals, music, speaking, and other service elements.
- Work with the Production Manager and production team to provide a consistent online experience.
What You’ll Need:
- Basic sound experience is helpful, but previous experience is not required.
- A willingness to learn and participate in basic mixing training.
- No audition is required.
Commitment: Serve approximately once a month during all three services.
Slides
The Slides team helps keep our congregation engaged and connected to what’s happening throughout the service. From lyrics during worship to Scripture and sermon content, you’ll help make sure the right information is on screen at the right time.
What You’ll Do:
- Run ProPresenter during services.
- Advance worship lyrics, Scripture, sermon slides, and other visual elements.
- Follow the service flow and stay attentive to what’s happening on stage.
- Work alongside the Production Manager and worship team.
What You’ll Need:
- No audition required.
- Basic ProPresenter training will be provided.
- A willingness to learn and stay attentive during services.
- A love for worship and the Word.
Commitment: Serve approximately once a month.
Purpose
The Technical Arts Team works behind the scenes to create a seamless Sunday experience, using creativity, technology, and attention to detail to support worship, announcements, and the message. That everyone of these positions utilizes and instruments that exicuted for God's glory. This team serves with a heart for excellence, helping ensure everyone in the room and online can clearly engage with what God is doing at The Naz.
