Opportunities

Parking Lot Team

A great first impression begins before someone ever walks through our doors! The Parking Lot Team welcomes guests as they arrive, helps them find their way, and creates a positive first experience at The Naz—rain, snow, or sunshine.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a smile, wave, and helpful attitude.
  • Direct first-time guests with more detail.
  • Help guests navigate the parking area and entrances.
  • Have fun and help set the tone for a welcoming Sunday!

Greeter

Greeters are often the first friendly face someone encounters at The Naz. They help guests feel welcomed, noticed, and comfortable from the moment they walk through the doors.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:

  • Offer a genuine, friendly welcome to everyone who enters.
  • Look for opportunities to connect with first-time guests.
  • Help guests find where they need to go and introduce them to others.
  • Anticipate needs and look for ways to make someone feel at home.

Coffee Team

The Gathering Grounds is an extension of the hospitality we offer at The Naz. This team serves more than coffee—they create a place where people can connect, slow down, and feel welcomed.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:

  • Serve coffee and other beverages with skill and friendliness.
  • Get to know regular attenders and remember them by name.
  • Create a warm and inviting environment for connection.
  • Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures.
  • Be generous with your time, conversation, and hospitality.

Usher

Ushers extend the hospitality of The Naz from the lobby into the worship center. They help create a comfortable, welcoming environment so everyone can find a seat and participate in worship.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests into the worship center.
  • Help guests find available seating and assist latecomers when needed.
  • Assist guests with accessibility or other seating needs.
  • Help keep the worship center clean, organized, and ready for guests.
  • Restock Connect Cards, pens, and other needed materials.
  • Be attentive and available throughout the service.

Hospitality & Grounds

This team helps create the welcoming details that make The Naz feel cared for and inviting. From caring for flowers and outdoor spaces to helping prepare special treats and seasonal experiences, this team helps make ordinary Sundays and special celebrations feel extra special.


Ministry Specific Responsibilities:

  • Care for and maintain flowers, plants, and planters around The Naz.
  • Help decorate and prepare spaces for holidays and special events.
  • Assist with hospitality moments such as Mother's Day cake pops, Father's Day treats, Christmas Cocoa, Christmas Cookies, and other seasonal offerings.
  • Help prepare, set up, serve, and clean up for special hospitality opportunities.
  • Bring creativity and attention to detail to seasonal decorations and experiences.
  • Look for ways to make people feel welcomed through the details.
